About Elite Focus Coaching
Elite Focus Coaching, LLC is a full-service mental performance coaching company dedicated to developing athletes, coaches, teams, and individuals through customized coaching strategies based in cognitive behavioral therapy that inspire confidence, action, and a culture of winning. We help you to achieve optimal performance leading to winning results on the playing field or in life.
Led by experienced head coach, Nick Pinizzotto, we offer a variety of services ranging from coaching individual athletes and individuals to guiding coaches and teams toward goal achievement. At Elite Focus Coaching, LLC, we pride ourselves on getting to know you, understanding your needs, and developing a highly personalized program to help you establish goals and realize your desired results. Meet the head coach
nick pinizzotto, CBT, ACELC
Nick Pinizzotto is a proven leader in athletics and business with 30 years of professional experience, including 15 years of direct experience mentoring and coaching teams and individuals as a mental health practitioner. He earned a Master's degree in Sports and Performance Psychology and holds certifications as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practitioner and life coach. Coach Nick is a member of the American Psychological Association, Association of Applied Sports Psychology, American Baseball Coaches Association, and is a life member of the Indiana County Sports Hall of Fame.
In business, Coach Nick has successfully served as president and CEO for national and international organizations with a track record of leading teams to dramatic improvement and unprecedented levels of success. He has also been called upon as a keynote and motivational speaker and has given dozens of presentations across the country. In 2015 he was named as a Smart Business Magazine Smart 50 award recipient being recognized for his work as a CEO in Columbus, Ohio.
On the field, Coach Nick is a championship-winning coach with demonstrated success coaching both youth and adults. He received special recognition by the Indiana County Sports Hall of Fame in 2010 after leading the Indiana Blackhawks adult baseball team from a losing record before his arrival to its first league championship in 30 years. He continues to serve as a high school baseball and football coach.
Coach Nick believes that mental and personal growth is the prerequisite for fully realized athletic success, and that clearing and exercising the mind is equally important to physical training and practice. He believes emphasis should be placed on developing the person before the athlete.
As a player, he was an all-star and all-conference performer in baseball and football. He still plays baseball in the area Over 40 league and is an avid golfer, runner, and outdoorsman. He resides in Indiana, PA with his wife Angela, and son, Will.

mental focus for Athletes
Athletes at all levels ranging from youth basketball players to senior golfers can benefit from mental focus training. We help you develop practical and personalized strategies that deliver repeatable and reliable results. We will help improve your performance and well-being, clearing the way for peak performance. We also assist with athletic career decision-making, such as choosing a college or navigating the NCAA transfer portal.
group sessions for teams
We offer age- and sport-specific mental focus training for teams designed to help improve team-level performance. Some examples include stress management during competition, in-game leadership skill improvement, visioning, breathing and heart rate management, and performance under pressure. Sessions can be conducted for full teams or specific groups of players.

Motivational speaking comes in many forms, ranging from pre-season messaging designed to inspire athletes to prepare for competition to game-day talks focused on achieving inspired performance immediately. Often, inspiring messages are more effective when delivered by someone outside the team, which is why even professional teams routinely invest in outside motivational speakers.
